Genesis Social Services Corporation of Madison, Wisconsin operates two major programs:
UJIMA Counseling Services
This program provides comprehensive, holistic, and culturally competent services to African American families in Dane County. Ujima is the only State certified mental healthe and Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) outpatient clinic serving African American families in Dane County. Ujima also provides case management services for persons enrolled in the Dane County Court Drug Treatment Program and the Treatment Alternatives Program.
Exodus Project
This Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug Prevention (ATODA) program provides community prevention and intervention services to Dane County adolescents and adults with a particular focus on minorities and at-risk youth. Services are delivered via the school, community-based agencies or other networks already in place.
